Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13, 1981) is an American actor. His career began with the roles in TV shows, including Opposite Sex, which aired in 2000. After appearances in a variety of teens' films, including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he was noticed for his performance of Marvel Comics character the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans was featured in a variety of films that adapted comics and graphic novels including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim and the World vs. the World (2009) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he became more famous as Steve Rogers/Captain America. It included Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier 2014 and Captain America: Civil War. He also made an appearance on The Avengers Age of Ultron 2015 Avengers: Infinity War 2018 and Endgame 2019. Within the Marvel Universe, his role as Captain Steve Rogers and Captain America earned him the title of world's highest paid actor.
